An Oakville lottery winner scored big, one of at least three lottery winners in South County this year to win at least $100,000.
Vantrish St. Clair of Oakville uncovered a $100,000 top prize on a Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket.
In the Missouri Lottery’s announcement of the win, the lottery did not provide the date St. Clair bought the winning “Blazin’ 7s Crossword” ticket at Petro Mart, 4205 Butler Hill Road.
“Blazin’ 7s Crossword” is a $5 Scratchers game that awards prizes for “scratching and matching” words contained in the game’s puzzles.
Missouri Lottery players in St. Louis County collectively won more than $168.9 million in the last fiscal year. During the same time period, retailers in St. Louis County received more than $16.3 million in commissions and incentives, while an additional $32.3 million from Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
