Emergency crews rescued an adult male from a trench on Jan. 2 in the 9400 block of Sappington Road.
A call was received before noon that a person was stuck in the trench. When first responders arrived, they located the individual at the bottom of the trench, which was mostly covered in fresh concrete mix. He was rescued within 15 minutes.
The individual was transported to the hospital for treatment, and though he was walking and conscious at the time, the extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.
