Third-graders at three Lindbergh elementary schools — Long, Truman and Sappington — and second-graders at Long wrote the following letters to Santa Claus:
Dear Santa,
Me and my sister have been very good. I like the elf that you gave us. We named him Willy. How are the reindeer doing?
And the elves? What about Mrs. Claus? I don’t know what I want for Christmas so can you please make it a bunch of good surprises? You should give the poor people more than $2,000 and lots of toys — same thing with the Army people, too.
