To the editor:

The people will choose the Republican nominee for county executive on Aug. 7. I am writing to urge you to vote for Paul Berry in the GOP primary.

Paul Berry is a fiscal conservative and will hold the line on taxes. As a small business owner, he will advocate for economic development and against bureaucratic legislations. He is a staunch opponent of the city-county merger. To improve relations with the County Council, he will seek to have standing appointments with each member.

Paul is a great family man. Paul and his wife, Keisha, have five daughters. I would appreciate your vote for Paul Berry for county executive on Aug. 7.
