To the editor:
In response to Jan Burmeister’s letter in the Dec. 12 Call, I hate to throw cold water on Jan’s thesis, but if Green Park were not to re-elect Alderman Michael Broughton, he would have even more time to craft more letters to The Call.
I, for one, enjoy Mr. Broughton’s babblings. He is a walking advertisement for the disincorporation of the overabundance of incorporated areas of St. Louis County.
How many of St. Louis County’s problems are caused by this unnecessary fragmentation? Perhaps it is time to reunite the county, and progress positively into the future.
