The Crestwood Schnucks is getting a face-lift as a total store remodel is currently underway at the grocery store at 9540 Watson Road.

According to a news release from Schnucks, the remodel will include a food hall concept that will feature local restaurants such as Salt + Smoke barbecue, Seoul Taco and Schnucks Burgers + Bites.

Other highlights include a “fresh pour” drink area specializing in coffee and draft beer and wine, as well as an expanded wine, beer and liquor area.

A renovated deli will serve hot pizza as well as a new cheese shop, remodeled bakery and upgraded seafood department.

In addition to the new decor throughout the store, the store will also feature a new natural living department.

The remodel is expected to be completed by late spring or early summer 2023. During and after the remodel, customers can continue to utilize grocery delivery and curbside pickup through Instacart.

“As longtime partners within the city of Crestwood and its residents, we’re proud to be bringing area customers a totally new shopping experience at the current location,” Schnucks Crestwood Manager Don Quante stated. “It’s because of our shoppers’ loyalty and patronage over the years that we are able to make this investment in our store and in our community.”

Schnucks has been in Crestwood since 1964 and the current 67,000-square-foot store was acquired in 1995, replacing the original store from the 60s. The store employs 105 people.
