Once in a great while, a movie comes along that inspires renewed hope in God’s plan for a world that seems increasingly dark.
“The Christmas Candle” — a new movie based on the book by Max Lucado — illuminates the spirit and sense of wonder that are the true meaning of Christmas. It’s a love story that transcends human love and delivers the faith-affirming message of God’s love.
“The Christmas Candle” opens on Nov. 22, and opening weekend is the key to the success and longevity of this independently released film. If theaters are filled on opening weekend, “The Christmas Can-dle” will be widely distributed.
I believe that a successful opening weekend for “The Christmas Candle” will send a message to Hollywood that America wants more inspirational films like this one.
