Continuing the momentum of Crestwood’s Back to Nature Project — thoughtful conservation efforts that preserve and enhance parks, green spaces and native habitats — the municipality held a special Arbor Day tree planting ceremony on April 24 at Crestwood Park.
The event, in which multiple native trees were planted, took place on the north side of the park. The trees for this planting were provided by Forest ReLeaf of Missouri, a nonprofit dedicated to growing and distributing trees to support communities and expand urban tree canopies.
