The weather was less than ideal on the evening of July 24, but that did not stop the lifeguards at the Crestwood Aquatic Center from welcoming Santa Claus to Christmas in July 2026.
Though months away from December, residents of Crestwood stopped by the city’s aquatic center for a weekend full of holly jolly festivities. Christmas in July, put on by both the Crestwood Parks and Recreation department and Christmas in Crestwood, was held over two days and featured a variety of holiday-themed games, prizes and treats.
Attendees were also encouraged to bring breakfast, lunch and snack items to help supplement meal resources that are unavailable during the summer months. The first 100 guests to donate five or more items were offered a children’s goodie bag. All collected items were donated to the First Baptist Church of Crestwood’s food pantry.
