Several new faces will be filling administration positions at the Mehlville School District at the start of the fall semester.
Oakville High School has a new head principal in Dana Skrabacz. She has served as an assistant principal at OHS since the 2022-2023 school year; she previously worked for 10 years as a social studies teacher and department chair at Hancock Place High School.
Michael Mancuso will serve as an assistant principal at Oakville High School this school year, bringing 13 years of experience as a high school math teacher. Most recently, he has spent six years at Valley Park High School.
Cole Jost will also serve as an assistant principal at OHS. He has taught in the Lincoln County R-III School District for the past three years. He previously taught at Troy Buchanan High School and Troy South Middle School.
Meanwhile, Erin Rendon will join the team at Bierbaum Elementary School, also in the role of an assistant principal. This will be Rendon’s 19th year in education. She began her teaching career in the Bayless School District, serving in a variety of roles, but most recently, she has served as an English learner teacher in the Parkway School District.
Scott McMullen will serve as an assistant principal at Forder and Trautwein elementary schools this year. He currently is the leader of SCOPE, which he has been involved with since 2017. He has taught at both elementary and middle school levels.
This school year, Kara Moore will serve as the math director for the Mehlville School District. She has been a math specialist in the Ladue School District since 2022, and she previously worked as a teacher in the Rockwood School District.
Steve Branstetter will serve as the Director of Facilities, having previously worked in Operations and Maintenance for the St. Charles County Highway Department. Prior to that, he was a Realty Specialist/Branch Chief for the United States Army Corps of Engineers and served as Pavements and Engineering Equipment Supervisor for the Missouri Air National Guard.
