Crestwood’s Board of Aldermen set the city’s 2021 tax rates at its meeting Sept. 28.
The rates are as follows, per $100 of assessed valuation: Residential — $0.561, Commercial — $.805, Agricultural — $0.00 and Personal property — $0.728.
“Again, one of the lowest tax rates in St. Louis County and certainly one of the best values in the county,” Mayor Grant Mabie said.
The change in tax revenue as a result of assessment is 1.4 percent or $30,354. The increase in tax revenue due to an increase in assessed value as a result of new construction and improvements is $2,059.
