The Sunset Hills Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a meeting March 16 to hear residents’ questions and concerns regarding the city’s new comprehensive plan.
The most frequent questions raised at the public hearing were related to the status and future of the Missouri Department of Transportation’s commuter lots at Interstate 270 and Gravois Road.
Having a concern regarding the recent political history of the commuter lots, I contacted Rep. Mike Leara of the 96th District to ask about the current status of the lots.
Rep. Leara found that the state of Missouri owns the commuter lots and the lots are not for sale. The state intends to keep them as such.
Perhaps this will address the concerns raised at the comprehensive plan public hearing.
