To the editor:
Congratulations to Aaron Hilmer on his re-election to the Mehlville Fire Protection District Board of Directors.
The citizens owe this man many accolades for upholding his fiduciary responsibility to the MFPD board and the citizens. His election at only 48.9 percent is a reflection of the citizens’ lack of respect for what this one man has accomplished.
His election overcame all the innuendoes, blasphemous talk, indolent attitudes and lawsuits.
Do the citizens recall the pre-Hilmer Board of Directors? Members of that Board of Directors proved they could not herd elephants if they saw the tracks.
The citizens should give congratulations to Mr. Hilmer for his outstanding contributions to society.
