Washington Middle School recently presented the school’s Caring Award to one student, Mia Peters, right. ‘Mia is a great student. She is always positive and expects others to be treated with respect and kindness,’ the award stated. ‘We are very proud of how she interacts with other students and makes others feel included. She is a quiet leader who exemplifies how we should treat others and encourages other students to do the same. We imagine she will do great things in the future.’
