Breaking: Charges issued in Oakville triple shooting that left two dead

Update 5:18 p.m. Tuesday: The St. Louis County Police Department issued charges Tuesday against suspects Tyler Cole, 19, of the 7200 block of Becker Road, and Zachary Hough, 18, of the 4200 block of Massabielle Drive. 

Both Coleman and Hough are facing two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana. Both are being held on $500,000 cash-only, no-10% bonds. 

According to a probable cause statement from police, Coleman and Hough spoke with Confidential Victim 1 and Confidential Victim 2 on Feb. 5 about selling marijuana cartridges. Victim 1 got into the defendant’s car while in the 2800 block of Innsbrook, and requested to see the cartridge. During the course of the drug deal, both victims were shot and killed. 

Detectives are still attempting to notify the next of kin of the second deceased individual. 

The St. Louis County Police Department is investigating a triple shooting that left two people dead, including a 15-year-old boy.

Police responded to the 5600 block of Chalet Forest Drive around 1:50 p.m. Monday after reports of a shooting. According to police, arriving officers located three males suffering from gunshot wounds. Two were transported to an area hospital for treatment, where one succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The third male, who was later identified as 15-year-old Colin Courtwright of the 1000 block of Watchel Avenue in Lemay, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The other deceased individual is still being identified.
