Thomas P. O’Driscoll

Thomas P. O’Driscoll died April 26.

An Oakville resident, Mr. O’Driscoll was an attorney. He was recognized by Lexis-Nexis for the highest possible rating in legal ability and ethical standards in 2010.

Mr. O’Driscoll was named South County Citizen of the Year in 2010, received the St. Louis County Citizen Service Award in 1994 and was a member of the Special Olympics Winners Circle.

He was a board member of the South County Police Business Association and South County Economic Improvement Inc. Mr. O’Driscoll was a former St. Louis City police officer, director of security for REJIS, director of security for Bi-State Transit and served 12 years on the Board of Directors for the Mehlville Fire Protection District.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Ruby O’Driscoll (nee Wilhelm); daughters and son-in-law, Erin O’Driscoll and Maureen and Michael Finder; two grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Dick Vierling.

Mr. O’Driscoll was preceded in death by his son, Thomas P. O’Driscoll Jr.; brother, Frank “Buddy” O’Driscoll; and sister-in-law, Delores Vierling.

Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel. Services are scheduled at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, to St. Gabriel Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
