To the editor:
I read John Stephens’ comments in the March 27 edition of a local newspaper and am scratching my head.
He stated that he created his personal Facebook group Sunset Hills Neighbors with no assistance from the city.
Those of us who have created Facebook groups know how ridiculously easy it is to do so. I’m stunned that he thought he might procure the city’s assistance in that endeavor. Any grade schooler should be able to help him.
It makes me worried that it would even occur to a mayoral candidate that he’s entitled to the city’s help with a personal project. A person can title his/her Facebook group anything he/she wishes, so including the name “Sunset Hills” does not entitle him to support from the city of Sunset Hills.
