Students honored for their musical talents

A number of students in the Lindbergh High School Orchestra recently were recognized for their musical talents.

The students auditioned and were selected to perform in several select orchestras, including the All-Suburban High School Honors Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, Young People’s Concert Orchestra and Young People’s Symphony Orchestra.

Students named to the All-Suburban High School Honors Orchestra are: Anne Bewig, violin; Sherry Mae Canono, violin; Nikki Evans, cello; Kate Haberman, violin; Austin Hope, cello; Nicole Moore, violin; Anna Nickless, violin; Candace Simpson, violin; and Cor-rine Zeller, violin.

Evans, Hope and Haberman were named to the Young People’s Symphony Orchestra and Bewig was named to the Young People’s Concert Orchestra.

Violinist Anna Perretta was selected for the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra.
