St. Louis County Library offering free produce boxes in partnership with Operation Food Search

Free, seasonal produce boxes will be available at select library branches Wednesdays through September

The St. Louis County Library and Operation Food Search are teaming up to provide free and fresh produce beginning July 13.

The boxes will be given out every Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. curbside through September. Boxes are limited to one per family. 

The only South County branch participating in the program is the Weber Road branch, 4444 Weber Road, on July 13, Aug. 3, Aug. 24 and Sept. 14. Dates vary by location; a complete schedule can be found at https://www.slcl.org/kids/produce-boxes

Other participating branches include:

  • Florissant Valley Branch, 195 N. New Florissant Road, 63031
  • Jamestown Bluffs Branch, 4153 N. Highway 67, 63034

  • Natural Bridge Branch, 7606 Natural Bridge Road, 63121
  • Parkview Branch, 8400 Delport Drive, 63114

Branches also offer free lunches to kids Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m. Participating branches provide a nutritious lunch along with activities for kids ages 18 and under. Additional details are available at www.slcl.org/summer-lunches.
