Friday, June 7 

  • The Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, is hosting “Approaching the Job Search at 55+: Looking for Jobs in All the Right Places” from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Create a job search plan, build a networking roadmap and tap into new ways to connect with job openings in today’s world.   • There will be a Holy Hour for priestly and religious vocations at the Monastery of St. Clare, 200 Marycrest Drive, from 7 – 8 p.m. 

Saturday, June 8 

  • Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, 45 W. Lockwood Ave., is hosting “Guns to Gardens” – a gun recycling event – from 10 a.m. to noon. Please only bring guns to be surrendered.   • The Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, is hosting “Readings from Grant’s Memoirs: ‘Roll of the Vanished Drums’” from 1 – 2 p.m. The presentation will be accompanied by a trio of period musicians and will be followed by a discussion. The program is free and does not require reservations. 
  • Presented by Ben Goeke, the Cliff Cave Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 5430 Telegraph Road, is hosting “Tie-Dye Your Own T-Shirt” from 2 – 3 p.m. Materials, t-shirts and one-on-one instruction will be provided. Sunday, June 9 

  • Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3600 Hampton Ave., has worship recorded and streamed every Sunday at 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Facebook and Youtube, and in-person.
  • A Gun Violence Awareness March will be held. Starting at 11:30 a.m., meet and check-in at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, 45 W. Lockwood Ave., then march to Emmanuel Episcopal, 9 S. Bompart Ave, at 12:45 p.m. If you cannot make the walk, meet at Emmanuel at 1:30 p.m. to rally with prayers, speakers and informational tables. Family friendly, rain or shine. 

Monday, June 10
