Queen of All Saints second-graders recently learned about famous author Jan Brett and designed a cover for their favorite book of hers.
The book covers currently are on display at the Cliff Cave Branch County Library, 5430 Telegraph Road.
In learning about Brett, students read a variety of her books and then chose their favorite. Classes watched many interesting videos on Brett’s website about how to draw animals, according to a news release.
Then students designed a cover for their favorite book. Brett wrote to the class and said she was very excited about the display, the release stated.
