An open house to celebrate the opening of the newly expanded library at Truman Elementary School, 12225 Eddie & Park Road, will take place next week.
The event is scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6.
The community is welcome to visit the new library addition and also see the new building connector that allows pupils to walk between buildings without being ex-posed to the weather.
The improvements are part of the Lind-bergh School District’s $14.1 million Prop-osition 4 bond issue.
