Construction of a new Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is nearing completion at the site of the former Tesson Ferry Branch County Library at 9920 Lin Ferry Drive in Green Park. City Administrator/City Clerk James Mello announced at a recent Green Park Board of Aldermen meeting that Fresh Thyme plans to open in October. The board voted in early 2016 to approve the 28,000-square-foot building. Fresh Thyme bills itself as a specialty grocer featuring healthy and organic value-priced offerings.
