Joe Monteleone
Three aldermen were sworn in at the Green Park Board of Aldermen meeting May 16. The board also named its board president.
Ward 1 Alderman Michael Broughton, Ward 2 Alderman Ronald Slattery and Ward 3 Alderman Martin Finn were all sworn into the board after being elected in April. All three were incumbents.
Slattery was the only alderman with a competitive race — he defeated challenger Donald Lattray, who has unsuccessfully run for alderman twice before.
The board also selected its president. Ward 1 Alderman Joe Monteleone was nominated by Broughton and elected unanimously. Monteleone previously served as board president.
