The Missouri American String Teachers Association recently presented Lindbergh teacher Michelle Howard with the 2017 Elementary Educator Award.
Howard, who teaches middle school orchestra and elementary strings, was nominated by her peers across the state for this prestigious honor.
“Music and education are two essential pillars of my life, both personally and professionally,” she stated in a news release. “I am so fortunate to work within such a fantastic community that respects the importance of lifelong learning.”
Howard teaches strings at Long Elementary School. She also directs the middle school Fiddler, Advanced Fiddler and Colonial Fiddler programs.
