Lutheran High School South will sponsor a memorial service to honor the life and ministry of Lloyd “Tiny” Holsten at 9:35 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23.
Holsten served as a coach and teacher at Lutheran High School South from 1966 to 1997.
During his 31 years, he taught history, coached football, boys’ soccer, boys’ freshman basketball and served as a friend to many students.
He died suddenly Nov. 28 near his home outside Murray, Ky., where he and his wife, Donna, had moved several years ago.
The service and informal reception that will follow are open to alumni and community members.
