Students from Mehlville High School and Oakville High School will have the opportunity to visit more than 125 colleges and universities without leaving St. Louis by attending the 2012 Collaborative College Fair Oct. 22.

St. Louis Community College at Meramec will host the gathering, which runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in the college gymnasium, 11333 Big Bend Road.

The Mehlville School District is teaming up with the Lindbergh, Webster Groves and Kirkwood districts to give high school students access to the offerings of colleges and universities from across the state and country.

Students will have a great opportunity to learn what specific educational programs are offered by the various institutions, what their admission standards are and what kind of financial assistance is available.

No admission and no reservations are required to attend the Collaborative College Fair. For more information, students can contact their high school guidance office.
