Man arrested as ‘person of interest’ in woman’s stabbing death in Affton

Police have arrested a man as a “person of interest” after a woman was stabbed to death in a homicide in Affton this morning.

Police responding to a call around 10:29 a.m. in the 10200 block of Marble Arch Lane found a female stabbing victim, with multiple wounds.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man was taken into custody, and police are calling him a “person of interest.”

The two knew each other, police said.

The investigation is “very active,” police said, and is being led by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.

This is not the first suspicious death police investigated in South County today. Earlier, police were on the scene of a suspicious death in Lemay.
