Lynn and Linda Flowers of Sunset Hills celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 26 with family and friends in Lake Mary, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Flowers were married Aug. 26, 1967, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in St. Louis.
Mr. Flowers retired from Ameren as a senior training supervisor. Mrs. Flowers retired as an administrative assistant from Sunnen Products.
They raised two daughters: Peggy Rogers and Melanie Ruiz.
The couple have six grandchildren: Jonathan, Alexandria, Matthew and Juan Pablo Ruiz, and Katie and Kyle Rogers.
After celebrating in Lake Mary, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Flowers traveled to Las Vegas, Nev., as they did after they were married in 1967.
