Mark Joseph Messler and Drew Michael Hensel recently received their white coats in Columbia, becoming members of the Mizzou Medical School Class of 2019. Both students graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri. Messler, a graduate of Mehlville High School, earned a degree in biological engineering. Hensel, a graduate of Oakville High School, earned a degree in biological science. Both young men attended Trautwein Elementary School and Washington Middle School, and enjoyed participating in the Mehlville School District’s Supplementary Teaching Resources for Educationally Talented, or STRETCH, program.
