Upperclassmen on the Lindbergh High School Link Crew wait to greet new freshmen when the buses arrive for the first day of school last week. More than 500 incoming Lindbergh High School ninth-graders are pairing up with Link Crew upperclassmen for the 2012-2013 school year. Besides welcoming freshmen on the first day of school Aug. 16, Link Crew buddies stay in touch with their new friends throughout the school year and guide them through organized study sessions and activities.
