The Lindbergh High School freshman, junior varsity and varsity cheerleaders attended National Cheerleaders Association camp at Southeast Missouri State University and turned in excellent performances and were selected as one of the “Top Teams” at camp.
The freshman team won the trophy for being one of the “Most Improved” teams at camp, while the varsity team won the “Herkie Team Award.”
The varsity squad also qualified to participate in the NCA national competition in Dallas.
The varsity squad was the only squad to have every member of the team nominated to try out for the “All-American Team.”
After placing fourth in regionals, the varsity squad also will be competing at the state level on Nov. 22 at the Hearnes Center in Columbia.
