Mehlville School District pupils from the Witzel Early Childhood Center, Wohlwend, Hagemann, Forder and Rogers elementary schools recently bridged the gap between preschool and kindergarten. Receiving their diplomas in the Mehlville Senior High School gymnasium, 2004 early childhood graduates took their first steps toward elementary school during a themed commencement ceremony — “It’s a Celebration,” according to a district news release. Parents were invited to celebrate at a reception following the event.
