Letter to the Editor
To the editor:
In the Jan. 24 edition of the Call, you had an article on Page 5A with a headline as follows: “Lindbergh may be Cloria Brown Highway.”
We lived in the area she represented.
From the beginning, we advised her of our concerns regarding the illegal immigrants moving to the area and the benefits they received, so we wondered what she might do about this and how she might address this concern.
Cloria Brown became flustered and said “she can’t go there, and could do nothing.”
We fail to see why Lindbergh Boulevard should be changed to be named for a spokesperson who did nothing for the people she represented, other than just be a nice person.
