The Green Park Board of Aldermen is holding a special meeting on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. at Green Park City Hall, 11100 Mueller Road, Suite 5. The public is encouraged to attend.
Per city code, a special meeting is able to be called by two aldermen or the mayor at any time. Mayor Tim Thuston called for a special meeting open to the public to ensure transparency.
The expected topic of the meeting is the hourly wage of Deputy City Clerk Diane DeLonjay.
Editor’s note: It was originally stated that Ward 1 Alderman Michael Broughton and Ward 3 Alderman Marty Finn allegedly called for a special meeting. Both aldermen have since reached out, saying they did not call for a meeting.
