Green Park approves final plan for R.V. Wagner

The Green Park Board of Aldermen unanimously passed an ordinance approving the final development plan for an office warehouse building with associated outside storage at its Oct. 16 meeting.

The applicant, R.V. Wagner Inc., already owns the 1.09 acre lot at 4623 Green Park Road that was approved for redevelopment. The lot is currently vacant, and now that the parcel has been rezoned to CC-P, the applicant plans on building a 1-story, 6,2000 square foot office warehouse building with associated outside storage and equipment. The approved outdoor storage will be fenced and screened from view by heavy landscaping per Green Park code, and must be maintained in “an orderly and neat fashion so as not to create a nuisance.”

R.V. Wagner Inc. is a full-service contractor that offers experience in civil, commercial, industrial and epoxy overlay projects. The company’s headquarters are located in Green Park at 4712 Green Park Road, just 900 feet away from the newly rezoned lot which they bought in order to expand their operations.

“RV Wagner has been a good partner with the city and a good business resident for a long time – taking an empty lot and building a new facility is a win-win for the city and business,” City Administrator James Mello said.
