Saturday, July 20, the Mehlville Fire Department will join Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and local Firehouse Subs franchisees, Julie and Brad Allen, to celebrate the foundation’s gift of $46,225 for new vehicle extraction equipment.
The Grant Award Acknowledgement Ceremony – including a demonstration of the new Hurst cutter, spreader, two rams and accessories that will assist first responders by dramatically reducing the time it takes them to safely and efficiently extricate victims involved in motor vehicle accidents – will take place at 10 a.m. at the Oakville Firehouse Subs, 4595 Chestnut Park Plaza.
Following the ceremony, the restaurant will be hosting a 10-year anniversary celebration from 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. The event will include fire trucks on display, face painting, pictures with Bluey and/or Dalmatian dog and a sub drawing.
