Experienced Tigers tennis looking for success

The Oakville Senior High School girls’ tennis team struggled to win matches as a unit last year, but did have some individual successes.

The Tigers will look to build on that experience to earn themselves a winning record this year, according to head coach Bill Ebert.

“We had a 4-9 record last year, so I want us to be obviously .500 or above, and I think we can with our experience,” Ebert told the Call. “I’m excited about this group that mainly is going to be top heavy with seniors, and those were juniors who experienced time at the varsity level and even district play. So I’m looking for that.”
