As usual, the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, was selected for this year’s “A Spirited Holiday Past” event held that day across 20 local historical sites on Dec. 6.
President Grant’s home, White Haven, was transformed for the holidays with decorations and cheer. Tours — complete with a seasonal craft station and live historical holiday music from guitarist Pattrick Rafferty — were available for free.
