Cadette Troop 3171 from Washington Middle School recently received the Silver Award for its diligent work with the Animal Protection Association, or APA. Each girl provided 50 hours of service to the APA. While working on the Silver Award project, each troop member also worked an additional 20 hours at Trinity Lutheran Church in Soulard. The girls served food to families in need and earned a Community Service Pin.
