The St. Louis County Police Department is investigating a murder-suicide in Oakville, which resulted in the death of Larry Ketterling, 77, and Nicki Ketterling, 77.

At approximately 11:36 a.m. on Oct. 5, police officers from the South County Precinct responded to a call about a shooting in the 100 block of Chinon Drive. Inside a residence, officers found Larry and Nicki suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.

A preliminary investigation has revealed that Larry shot Nicki and then himself. This is an active investigation, and more information will be disseminated as it becomes available.
