The Oldies on the River concerts will continue Saturday, June 21, with a special appearance by Butch Wax and the Hollywoods.
The concert will take place from 8 to 11 p.m. in the Veterans Memorial Amphitheater at Jefferson Barracks Park. Gates will open at 7 p.m.
This St. Louis band features all the great Motown and R&B hits of the 1960s and more. Butch Wax and his eight-piece Holly-wood Band perform throughout the Midwest playing all of your favorites.
Admission is $8 per person for those 12 years old and older. Children 11 and younger will be admitted free. Tickets are available at the gate upon arrival. Low-cost concessions, free parking and lawn seating will be available.
The next concert in the series will be Elvis Live on Saturday, June 28.
The Oldies on the River concerts are sponsored by St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation, Friends of Jefferson Barracks and KLOU Radio. Proceeds of the concerts will benefit the Friends of Jefferson Barracks and will be used for improvements in the park.
