Aaron Kohler has been named the new principal of Bayless Elementary School. He will begin his new position July 1.
Kohler comes to Bayless from the Northwest R-1 School District, where over the past eight years he served as an assistant principal and principal in the district’s elementary and intermediate schools and the Seventh and Eighth Grade Center. At his most recent assignments, Brennan Woods and Cedar Springs Elementary schools, he assisted with the educational leadership for 66 staff members at two National Blue Ribbon schools.
He previously served as an assistant principal of Nipher Middle School in the Kirkwood School District and at the City of St. Charles School District. He began his career as a middle school mathematics teacher at Oakville Junior High in the Melville School District.
“Mr. Kohler brings the high expectations and complementary experiences to which the Bayless Elementary students and faculty have already become accustomed,” said Mr. Ron Tucker, assistant superintendent of the Bayless School District. “He will be a great fit.”
Kohler received his Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Webster University. He has a master’s degree in Education Administration and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri St. Louis.
Kohler will become the principal of the elementary school, which is being expanded during the upcoming school year to include Pre-K through fifth grade. Kohler replaces Gina Siebe who retired and Kim Stallons, who will serve as the principal of Spoede Elementary School in the Ladue School District.
