The Affton Chamber of Commerce will conduct its annual Spring Barbecue Saturday, May 11, in the Schnucks parking lot at Gravois Road and Valcour Avenue.

This event provides seed money for the Affton Community Days Parade to keep the parade a free event. The barbecue will take place from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. or when food is gone.

The price for the dinners is $8 and that includes two sides: baked beans and potato salad. The selection of meat includes: half chicken, third slab ribs, two brats or a pork steak. Hamburger and hot-dog sandwiches also will be available, along with chips and a selection of soda. All meals are carry-out.

This year’s Affton Days will be Saturday, Sept. 21.
