Editor’s note: A representative from 9 Mile Garden said Thursday that due to unforeseen circumstances Game Night at the Canteen: A Chef Series has been canceled for November. Taco Circus announced Thursday that the restaurant is closing permanently Nov. 20.

Details for December’s game night at 9 Mile Garden will be announced in the future.

9 Mile Garden is starting a new monthly tradition Nov. 19 with its first Board Game Night from 9 p.m. to midnight.

The first game, Game Night: A Chef Series, features a partnership with Taco Circus to serve Tex-Mex cuisine throughout the evening. DJ Makossa will provide live music throughout the event.

Tickets are $15 a person and include one drink, a plate of food, unlimited board game play and access to live music.

“We’re excited to bring game night to the Canteen for friends and families to enjoy all winter.” Brian Hardesty, managing partner of 9 Mile Garden, said. “The rotating chef lineup is particularly exciting, and we can’t wait for everyone to enjoy the variety of food, drinks and entertainment with their games.”

December’s theme will be announced soon. To buy tickets, visit https://square.link/u/fgHh3VeR.
