Twelve Lindbergh students named National Merit semifinalists

Twelve Lindbergh students named National Merit semifinalists

The National Merit Scholarship Crop. announced that 12 Lindbergh High School students have been named semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. These high school seniors rank among roughly 16,000 students nationwide who have received this honor in 2013. These students were among 1.5 million juniors in more than 22,000 high schools who entered the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. They now have the opportunity to continue in the competition for 8,000 National Merit Scholarships worth about $35 million, which will be offered next spring.
