Christina Turnbeaugh, daughter of Kevin Turnbeaugh and Marianne Kopel of St. Louis, and Shane Thacker, son of Eddy and Connie Thacker of Inola, Okla., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Turnbeaugh of St. Louis is a student of music ministry at Ozark Christian College in Joplin.
Her fiancé, Thacker, is a student of youth ministry at Ozark Christian College and is studying business at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. He also is employed at Wal-Mart as a salesman.
The couple plan a May 15 wedding at Smithfield Christian Church in Carl Junction.
