The State Bank, based in Waterloo, Illinois, has opened its first branch in South County.
This newly renovated facility in Mehlville, Missouri, is located at 6969 S. Lindbergh Blvd. and brings the total number of State Bank locations to five. The location is the former site of Midwest BankCentre’s branch on Lindbergh.
President and CEO Kevin T. Day commented, “The addition of this facility in South County is a natural next step for this bank. As the longest-serving, locally owned bank in Monroe County, Illinois, we’ve provided banking solutions to the surrounding area since the late 1800s. As we focus on growing into the future, an office in South County not only provides convenience for our existing clients who shop and work in the area, but also allows the bank to bring its unique approach to banking to an expanded market.”
In line with what the bank calls its “tradition of top-rated banking service,” the State Bank has staffed this new facility with some familiar local faces including Brandy Ebers – chief lending officer, Tony Pelizzaro – relationship manager, Amira Kujundzic – relationship manager, Nermina Ibisevic – branch manager, Melanie Lubers – assistant branch manager II and Vanja Radovanovic – assistant branch manager I.
Based in Waterloo, Illinois, the State Bank is a full-service bank with a history of serving its customers that dates back to 1894. Along with providing the latest in technology-based banking solutions, the State Bank is a strong supporter of its surrounding communities and aspires to be #yourcommunitybank for years to come.
