St. Thomas/Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 3980 S. Lindbergh Blvd., held its annual “Ashes To Go” event from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 for Ash Wednesday.
The church had blessed 180 people as it drew close to noon; last year, they blessed 300 in total. According to the church, this year saw more pet blessings than ever before.
