SunCrest Fest, a joint venture between Sunset Hills and Crestwood, returns this Saturday at Kitun Park, 12343 Eddie and Park Road.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 with carnival rides and attractions, live music, food and more. Attendance is free, but ride bracelets are available for purchase — $35 for an all day bracelet or $25 for a half day bracelet, with increased prices the day of the event: $40 for an all day bracelet and $30 for a half-day on the day of.
Two music events are planned for the carnival. The first is from 2 to 4 p.m. with rock and roll band Shadow Play, with the second from 6 to 8 p.m. with cover band Almost Famous. Shaggy Sounds will play between performances.
Parking is available near the site, and shuttles are available all day at the Sunset Hills Community Center (3915 S. Lindbergh Blvd.); Watson Trail Park (12450 W. Watson Road); South Technical High School (12721 W. Watson Road) and St. Thomas – Holy Spirit Church (3980 S. Lindbergh Blvd.).
